drawing in thread demo at hutch studio

If your missed this demo, it was amazing! Drawing on a sewing machine-check it out.

Layer... layer... layer

I was over at this site today, and
she asked about painting trim in her
home.
Here is what we did at Hutch,
I love the dark trim.   And here
is Chris putting a wash over
the walls.  Everything is layered and
has depth.  Some of the walls
we painted and left a hint of the
original detail floral painting originally done.
Sanded in spots, painted, then umbered.
It is so cool!   Each room is a different color, green, aqua, cream...but each
with this brown wash, so it all is cohesive.  He even painted the wood floor,
which were 160 year old, very tired fir.
